Approximately a month ago - I was approached by the Director (also the Writer) with a Script. After I read it several times ie. providing constructive feedback - I was then approached again and offered the role of Producer, acknowledging that the written material was both comprehensive and substantial enough to warrant turning it into a Short ACTION Film with the necessary resources in place. The Director was happy with my background, work ethic and approach to the film-making process, working in conjunction with his vision of how he sees / would like to see the edited film.
I've just started the process of helping the Director with the planning and coordinating of the various aspects of film production - including continued script development, casting for Crew and Actors, sourcing production and post-production resources, film locations and looking to arrange for basic-level financing.
Because of the scale of this film, I'll be able to supervise most parts of this pro-duction - however realistically, one or two helpers will be required to keep this ship afloat and heading in the right direction.
I'll be in good a position to input constructively with the film editing process ie. sounds and music, along with any scenes cuts.

Still firming up this area with the Director.
