Who are we?
The College Project was founded in February 2011 and is an independent project by ArtSpaceLifeSpace, an artist led initiative that recycles vacant, under-used and problem properties into thriving active creative resources. The College Project is a 6 acre campus in the heart of BS3 Bristol, dedicated to the community and the arts. Based in the grounds of the former City Of Bristol College on Marksbury Road.
It is a vibrant, creative community learning space for people of all ages, backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.
The College Project is home to a range of artists, illustrators, puppeteers, set-designers, graffiti gods, creative blacksmiths, bicycle conjurers, musicians, painters, theatre performers and community interest companies.

More about us & our partners.
Our Mission...
Our mission is to establish an informal community of educators, supporting and encouraging each other by sharing ideas, enthusiasm and good practice.
Volunteer at The College...
Volunteering is key to The College. The College remains largely unfunded byexternal bodies and depends on volunteer assistance for its existence and continued development. There are many ways to be involved with and support the work going on.
How does it work?
You can attend classes, you can volunteer in the gardens, if you teach, we have classroom space available, we are looking for creative artists to turn the entire College into an art gallery, help is needed looking after the core administration and general maintenance of the building, donations are welcome in the form of resources such as furniture, computers, gym mats, etc...
Get Involved ! - Contact us to find out more.
Gardening at The College
6 acres of campus means lots of garden space and we are working hard to transform The College into a green haven producing fruits, flowers and vegetables in abundance.
Saturdays are our open gardening day, come and volunteer and learn lots about different gardening techniques, plants and equipment. Ask for Alice, Kevin, Sylvie or Aeddon.
